Rise and Shine: The Life of an HVAC Technician
As an employee at All Temp Heating & Air Conditioning, my days are filled with exciting challenges and opportunities to help our customers stay comfortable. Here’s a glimpse into a typical day in my life:
6:00 AM – The Early Bird Gets the Worm
My alarm goes off, and I’m up and at ’em. After a quick breakfast, I check my schedule for the day and load up my truck with the necessary tools and parts.
8:00 AM – First Call of the Day
I arrive at a home in Bolingbrook, IL, for an air conditioning installation. The homeowners are excited about their new, energy-efficient system. It takes a few hours, but seeing their smiles when the cool air starts flowing makes it all worthwhile.
12:00 PM – Lunch Break and Team Check-in
I grab a quick lunch and touch base with my colleagues. We share tips and discuss any challenging jobs we’ve encountered recently.
1:30 PM – AC Repair in Skokie
My next stop is in Skokie, IL, where a customer’s air conditioner isn’t cooling properly. After some troubleshooting, I identify and fix the issue. The grateful homeowner is relieved to have their AC working again on such a hot day.
3:30 PM – HVAC Maintenance in Evanston
I head to Evanston, IL, for a routine HVAC maintenance appointment. Regular check-ups help prevent major issues down the line, and I enjoy educating customers about proper system care.
5:00 PM – Emergency Call in Lincolnwood
Just as I’m wrapping up, I get an emergency call from a customer in Lincolnwood, IL. Their heating system has suddenly stopped working. I quickly diagnose the problem and have their furnace up and running in no time.
7:00 PM – Heading Home
After a long but satisfying day, I head back to the office to complete my paperwork and prepare for tomorrow’s adventures.
Working for All Temp Heating & Air Conditioning is more than just a job – it’s a chance to make a real difference in people’s lives. Whether I’m in Chicago, Morton Grove, or anywhere in between, I take pride in providing top-notch service and keeping our customers comfortable year-round.
